E3 2009: Assassin's Creed II landing November 17

PS3 News | PSP iteration named, connectivity revealed.
Ubisoft has announced at E3 that Assassin’s Creed II will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on November 17. The PlayStation Portable iteration, titled Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines, is scheduled for release on the same day.

At Sony’s E3 Press Conference, Ubisoft Montreal’s Patrice Desilets stated that the PS3 version of Assassin’s Creed II will connect with its PSP cousin. Players will unlock six new weapons in Assassin’s Creed II when they link Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines to their PS3. Ubisoft has also revealed that Altair, the protagonist from the first Assassin’s Creed, will feature in Bloodlines.

Finally, the publisher outlined how the new Assassin’s Creed II character, named Ezio, doesn’t start off the game as an assassin. Instead, he has to enlist help from friends and famous personalities such as Leonardo da Vinci to learn his craft.

Stayed tuned for more on Assassin’s Creed II as it comes to hand.

Will the xbox version have a simmilar addition? I don't want the same, naturally, but something console unique would be nice.

Seems likely, nothing is exclusive anymore...
Probably will be released as DLC or something similar.

Also, where will they set AC 3? Please let it be 19th century England! Nothing would beat assassinating people in a top hat and having Sherlock Holmes on your trail!

Ahaha, thats cool. Another cool location would be Asia... but I don't know how they could explain Desmond having an asian ancestor, unless he had an ancestor merely living there... could be cool. Different architecture...ninja costume...

Anyway, it's more likely the game will be set in Desmond's present day, with him as the assassin.
