looking impressive, definitely a rental for me.

i would just buy it, but Terminator games have never really been very good, unfortunately, since you'd think it'd be ripe for exploitation.

It actually looks pretty damn good. Wonder how it will turn out.

I hope the game gives us a true display of a Terminator's toughness. Those **** don't go down easily, so it really should take more than a few shots in-game.

Doesn't really impress me. It's all very brown and the characters don't look too interesting either. Then there's the machines, nothing to get excited about yet =\

Oh obs please,

The latest games might of not been good, but terminator has a shining past of amazing games, more memorable for me then any other game i think..

1st , Terminator for Nes ( i think it was good? )
2nd, Future Shock? open world Terminator game where you can go into EVERY BUILDING

I swear that game has always been in my head as one of the best games, i remember the atmosphere was at 100% when i played it.
And scary.

excuse young sir,

WTF?

you do not want a future rebel resistance against machine war game not to be dark and brown!? did you want lolipops and sunshine???

Your just becoming one of the new type of critics, " Oh look another brown/grey game, it must suck. "
how can you even say something like that? it is a game where almost all humans are dead and those left are fighting to survive in a post apocalyptic world.. what colours would you suggest?

Wow relax mate... I'm saying the screenshots are a little bland, with nothing particularly interesting or exciting in them. The game could be bloody brilliant but I do not think these screenshots show anything amazing off.

Oh and they could throw some rainbows in too, seems to have done wonders for Diablo =)

I gotta agree. They don't impress me much either. Both the scenery and characters look very Battlefield 2-esque. Would have looked awesome a few years ago, but doesn't do much for me these days. Everything looks a little plain.

Just because it's accurate doesn't mean it's in any way enjoyable to look at.

I'm maybe half looking forward to this. It's the kind of anticipation where I'll be completely OK with the game turning out sucky, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if it's good.

heh, i actually wanted to say that bar a few exceptions, they've never been very good. Future Shock/Skynet is probably 1 of 2 exceptions i was thinking of, the other being the T2 Arcade game - though i don't think i ever played the NES game.

and tbh, i didn't really mind Dawn of Fate either, but maybe that was just because i wanted to like a Terminator game. it was also at a time when i didn't really have time to play games, so i didn't have much to compare it to. i'm not apologising for liking it, just quantifying why it isn't on my list of good Terminator games.

but games like War of the Machines (the Battlefield ripoff) should've been so good, yet it really wasn't.

but then consider that we've listed 3-4 games that we think were good, compared to the sheer number of Terminator-themed games, and the bad vastly outnumber the good.
