Next Call of Juarez dated

PS3 News | You could say the release date is bound in blood.

Ubisoft has just confirmed that the Call of Juarez prequel, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood will be available in PAL territories from 3 July 2009, giving players the chance to dole out their own brand of gun-slinging justice as the brothers Thomas and Ray McCall.

With a story that takes place amongst the midst of the American Civil War, Thomas and Ray ditch the Confederate army after when the call of the Wild West becomes to great, leaving the brothers to embark on an adventure as they search for the gold of Juarez.

As long as the load screens aren't.... as long as they were in the original, I'm looking forward to it. I thought the first had a great story with good VA.

I never thought of it before, but can you really bind something with blood? I mean, I guess it's kinda sticky, but not really in a permanent sense. I'm sure it refers to the relationship between the two McCall brothers, but it just conjures images of a soggy, red-stained book dripping off in a corner somewhere.

I'm totally looking forward to this game, anyway. After playing the demo of the first game I was half-mesmerised, unfortunately I knew I'd never buy the full game because the forced stealth and platforming sections with Billy were not even bearable for the extent of the demo, let alone a full game. This game has no Billy, thus I'm all over it.

Well, if you let the blood sit long enough it'll harden, so it'd be like a scab covered book. What a pleasant image.
