Codemasters to publish latest Leisure Suit Larry adventure

PS3 News | Larry gets picked up.
Codemasters has revealed that they have signed on to publish the next installment in the Leisure Suit Larry series, Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust.

The adventure title that follows the exploits of the lovable loser Larry Laffer was one of many games left high and dry following the Activision Blizzard merger last year, a move which saw the new company leave a majority of the Sierra Entertainment properties left without a home.

Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust is set for release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2009.

I kinda wish they'd leave Larry alone. They can't possibly improve on the earlier games, they're just too good. Kinda ruins the older ones, releasing new crap ones.

I think it already made it through without a hitch.
