Skate 2 DLC drops onto consoles

PS3 News | Wheel around in Fantasy Plaza.
Those of you looking to grind your way around a new location in Skate 2 are in luck with the latest downloadable content adding pro skater Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Plaza - as seen in his MTV reality TV show the centerpiece of Rob's MTV show, Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory - skate park into the game.

Players will have full access to all of the nooks and crannies of Fantasy Plaza as well as the surrounding downtown Los Angeles area to explore.

Dyrdek was quite stoked at the venture, explaining: "I can't wait to give players a taste of the Fantasy Plaza, my dream skateboarding space. The team at Black Box has recreated the plaza in Skate 2, complete with all the ledges, gaps and rails. On top of all that, there's still a lot more surprises outside the park that both gamers and skaters will enjoy."

Skate 2's Fantasy Plaza DLC is now available for download on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace $5.00 US and 400 Microsoft points, respectively. Don't forget to take a gander in our media panel to see the ins-and-outs of Fantasy Plaza for yourselves.

For the 360 gamers, the DLC adds 4 more achievements worth a total 100 points.

And i also noticed on my gamercard that there are 6 more achievements (taking the game's total GS up to 1250, but only 1100 are attainable atm) all of a sudden, which means another lot of DLC is probably just around the corner...

Apparently the next batch of DLC will have old spots from the original Skate.
