I'm really psyched for Brutal Legend. And I'm not even a fan of Metal.

I'm so excited for this game.

being a massive game and an even bigger metal head, not to mention loving Tim Schafer's previous games, I can't wait for this game

I am a manic 90's Lucasarts fan, and especially those games such as Monkey Island, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle...I wiled away a very excellent period of my pre-teens on these games, and I'd go as far as to say they are single handedly what developed my passion for gaming.

They were so witty and full of life; with such engaging prose and amazing gameplay, and to think Schafer had a large hand in most, if not all of them. So when he founded Double Fine, I was doubly hooked on anything they produced.

Hence, Psychonauts was very high up on my must-have list, and it did not disappoint. So it appears Schafer is my own personal angel sent down from heaven.

And so Brutal Legend is a must-buy, and I have no doubt I'll love it to bits.

Seriously though, I am a little cautious about Jack Black's voice work in Brutal Legend. To say the trailer didn't convince is an understatement. Hopefully the final product is much improved.

@mattstep

Hehe good spot mattstep, thanks for pointing that out. I had typed that sentence twice in different ways, and ended up muddling them both. Go, me.

Every metal fan here should be checking out Metalocalypse. Cartoon from the states with a "real" animated band called Dethklok.

Its bloody marvelous and their tunes are not half bad either.
