SingStore updated

PS3 News | Three times!
With the SingStore being updated so frequently, it can be somewhat difficult to keep up with the updates. Given the busy season and the recent release of SingStar: Volume 3 and SingStar: ABBA taking up so much of our mic time, we lost sight of the downloadable songs. It may also have something to do with the fact that the new songs on the SingStore aren't that great when it comes to our own personal tastes. That being said, the updates were as follows:

November 27
  • Anberlin - "A Day Late"
  • Anberlin - "Paper Thin Hymn"
  • Cliff Richard - "Mistletoe And Wine"
  • Jimmy Barnes - "Working Class Man"
  • Jona Lewie - "Stop The Cavalry"
  • Paul McCartney - "Pipes of Peace"
  • Rick Astley - "Together Forever"
  • Roy Orbison - "Pretty Paper"
  • The Beach Boys - "Fun Fun Fun"
  • The Outfield - "Your Love"
  • The Swingers - "Counting The Beat"
  • Village People - "Y.M.C.A."
December 11
  • Anastacia - "I'm Outta Love"
  • Depeche Mode - "Just Can't Get Enough"
  • Faker - "This Heart Attack"
  • Glasvegas - "Daddy's Gone"
  • Kylie Minogue - "Give Me A Little More Time"
  • M-People - "Movin' On Up"
  • Milow - "You Don't Know"
  • Motion City Soundtrack - "This Is For Real"
  • Newton Faulkner - "Teardrop"
  • Roots Manuva - "Witness (One Hope)"
  • The Saints - "(I'm) Stranded"
  • Spin Doctors - "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong"
December 22
  • 3T - "Anything"
  • Baby Bird - "You're Gorgeous"
  • Cathy Davey - "Clean And Neat"
  • Hot Chip - "Ready For The Floor"
  • Ida Maria - "Stella"
  • Kylie Minogue - "I Should Be So Lucky"
  • Milow - "The Ride"
  • Mud Lonely - "This Christmas"
  • Rick Astley - "Never Gonna Give You Up"
  • Rongedal - "Just A Minute"
  • Shannon Noll - "Loud"
  • Slade - "Merry Xmas Everybody"
  • Sunrise Ave - "Forever Yours"
  • Sunrise Ave - "Heal Me"
  • The Offspring - "Gotta Get Away"
  • Wings - "Mull Of Kintyre"
There you go, even some Christmas songs for those that want an excuse to pull out SingStar in front of the rellies on December 25th. Merry Christmas indeed! We'll be back with more information on the next batch of SingStar updates in 2009, so stay tuned!

All that music, and only one song worth having! Even then, Gotta Get Away isn't exactley one of the songs I'd pick from that album for a sing-along either (although it's not a bad choice, just wouldn't be my first).

Meh, what (mostly) atrocious packs!

One of the reasons I ditched Singstar in favour of Rock Band - decent songs to sing.
