No Doubt DLC comes to Rock Band

PS3 News | It'll come in with the breeze on Tuesday morning.
This week will be a No Doubt DLC fest with Rock Band receiving the Californian band's 2004 compilation album The Singles 1992-2003.

The content will pack thirteen of the fifteen tracks which appeared on the album - absent are the two tracks "New" and "Trapped in a Box." Harmonix is yet to comment on the reasoning for the omission.

This 13-song collection will be sold in a bundle for 1600 Microsoft Points, or gamers can choose to purchase individual tracks for 160 Microsoft Points each.

The No Doubt tunes will be available for purchase on the Xbox 360 this coming Tuesday, followed by a PlayStation 3 release on Thursday, December 11.

No Doubt's The Singles 1992-2003 (Rock Band Edition) will feature:

  • "Just a Girl"
  • "It's My Life"
  • "Hey Baby"
  • "Bathwater"
  • "Sunday Morning"
  • "Hella Good"
  • "Underneath It All"
  • "Excuse Me Mr."
  • "Running"
  • "Spiderwebs"
  • "Simple Kind of Life"
  • "Don't Speak"
  • "Ex-Girlfriend"

Hey Kimberley,

Any chance of including the price for PS3 owners when you publish these news items? I can probably guess what the prices will be, but would be nice to know without having to go over to rockband.com

[edit] Actually, I was wrong when I guessed - the tracks are $1.99US or $19.99US for the entire album... damn, was hoping it would be a $15 album[/edit]

This is great news icon_smile.gif
I think I'll get the entire pack. Not a huge No Doubt fan or anything like that, but overall this collection seems to have it all. Pop accessability and fun, Female lead to get the ladies involved, some interesting beats and rhythms...
And it's another big name band to have a full album released through Rock Band, which means there will be more bands willing to let Harmonix release their music as DLC icon_biggrin.gif
