Killzone 2 dated

PS3 News | Well, for the US at least.

Gaming blog Qj.net has reported the North American release of anticipated first-person shooter Killzone 2 is dated for a February 27, 2009 release.

Announced by TV gaming program X-Play, the episode also revealed two new weapons to join the arsenal - the bolt gun and flamethrower.

Unfortunately there was no mention of release date outside of North America. As soon as it’s dated elsewhere, we’ll let you know.

I'm already completely sick and tired of this game 3 months before it's release, and I'm not even trying to get information about it.

I think 09 is going to be a good year for ps3 owners.

Thats before my birthday, thank god.
I've been looking forward to Killzone 2, I actually really enjoyed Killzone 1. I suspect COD has spoilt me with its gameplay though, Modern Warfare was near perfect for me.
