Mercenaries 2 demo arrives today

PS3 News | Available now on Xbox 360.
Pandemic's open-world action title Mercenaries 2: World in Flames will be available as a demo on both Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network in the next week.

The demo will allow players to progress through one objective taken from one of the game's missions. The demo will also let players take out many of the game's vehicles for a spin, as well as the opportunity to try out the title's air-strike capabilities.

The demo for Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is available on Xbox Live from today and is set to arrive on the PlayStation Network on September 18.

That's surprising. It's rare for an open-world game to recieve the demo treatment.

Saint's Row did, Just Cause did, Test Drive Unlimited did, etc ;)

I just checked Live and there was no demo, has this been confirmed for Australia or just the US?

Well, if they'd have released the demo before, I never would've bought the game (which I did today). I'm not too impressed with it so far ...

^ i actually wasn't impressed either, but stick with it, i spent a good couple of hours in my second sessions, and despite still being occasionally annoyed with the bugs, it's quite fun.

especially when other PALGN members join your game dressed like Big Bird.
(<3 Cap. had me grinning like a madman!)
