Motorstorm: Pacific Rift demo announced for lucky few

PS3 News | There's a small chance you may be among them.

Sony's 'semi-official' blog ThreeSpeech is reporting that a demo of the upcoming Playstation 3 racer Motorstorm Pacific Rift will be released next week for European gamers. The catch is that it will only be made available to a limited number of randomly selected PSN users, who will be e-mailed a voucher code allowing them to download the demo.

While American PSN users will be able to access the Motorstorm Pacific Rift demo this week in the latest edition of the American-exclusive Qore online magazine, not-so-lucky Europeans will have to wait until next month for the demo to be generally released. No word has yet surfaced on whether Australian users will be included in Sony's lucky draw, or when the demo will be released on the Australian PSN store.

what is the deal with Sony- aren't there servers big enough to handle downloads from all PSN users ?? this is not a closed Beta (that is has to be limited) - it is a Demo for @#$%'s Sake....
c'mon Sony - dont be stingy with your demos...

I didn't really like it, felt very floaty to control and only have one type of vehicle in comparison to 8 types in Motorstorm, well, you know...I'll rent it someday.

Can't wait for the Motorstorm demo next month, I saw some HD gameplay vids on Gametrailers last night and it looks to improve on everything I loved about the original, and more.

Fairenough, each to their own.

Can't pull-off tricks in a vehicle now can you? which is what Pure is all about.

I've played MS2 & found MS2 one dimensional after playing Pure, personally preference.
