Dead Space set to launch early

PS3 News | Game to arrive a week earlier than anticipated.
While EA's survival-horror title Dead Space has been slotted in for an October release since February, the company has announced that development finished ahead of schedule, which has allowed for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the title to arrive in European territories a week earlier than anticipated.

Although the console release is now scheduled for October 24, PC users will still have until October 31 to get their hands on the game.

Currently, there is no official word on whether this release date change will take effect on the game's release date in Australia.

But now it won't be a Halloween release. I thought it kind of cool to release a horror game on Halloween. Like when they release that horror movie on 6/6/06.
