Guitar Hero: Aerosmith bargain round-up

PS3 News | Even Aerosmith fans like a bargain.
It’s time to rock the night away again, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith will be hitting store shelves tomorrow. So that you don’t pay full price for the game, we’ve compiled a list of the current specials around Australia. To start off though, we’re going to explain the individual retail prices for each version.

As most of you would be aware, the Guitar Hero games are available in two different packs: a bundle consisting of a guitar peripheral and a copy of the game, and the other just being the standalone game. If you already own the guitar peripheral for the console you want to play Aerosmith on, you do not need to purchase the bundle pack. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 bundles normally retail for $169.95, while the standalone game retails for $89.95. The Wii bundle is slightly cheaper at $159.95, as is the standalone game for $79.95. Finally, the PlayStation 2 bundle has a recommended retail price of $149.95, and the standalone game usually costs $69.95.

With that out the way, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 bundles are selling for $139 at Kmart and $139.95 at Target. As for the standalone games, Target are offering them for the cheapest price of $69.95, while both Kmart and Myer are the next best option at $79. Mixing up the pattern a little, the Wii bundle is only $129 at Wow – Sight and Sound and Kmart, while the standalone version will set you back $69.95 at Kmart and Target. Last but not least, is the PlayStation 2 version. The bundle is only $119 at Kmart and $129 at Myer, while the standalone game costs $59.95 and $69 at Kmart and Myer respectively.

We would like to point out that the Kmart and Target sales don’t officially start until Thursday, so you may have to wait until then to get Guitar Hero: Aerosmith at those prices. All these specials will be included in this week’s Australia Gaming Bargains feature, which will be published by PALGN tomorrow afternoon. For a complete list of specials, please look below:

I've made a few alterations and added Domayne. There's nothing major that's changed.
