Muse DLC hits Guitar Hero III

PS3 News | Glaciers melting in the dead of night, and the superstars sucked into the downloadable content.
Fans of Bellamy and the boys will be chuffed at the news that Activision has announced that British prog rockers Muse will be the next band to get a track pack for Guitar Hero III.

The hard rocking downloadable content pack will debut online on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live services on May 8, and is said to contain the following tracks:
  • "Exo-Politics"
  • "Supermassive Black Hole"
  • "Stockholm Syndrome"
Currently, no price point has been announced, but it's safe to say that it will remain at the same price as previous Guitar Hero III DLC track packs.

Man three very awesome Muse songs, this might be what gets me playing Guitar Hero again!

Ooh I'd love to give Stockholm Syndrome a go, I think I might have to buy some MS Points soon!

Depending on how much they charge for it, I'd prefer a new arcade game than spending money on songs I already own.

Since, of course, it would be awesome to have more Muse in GH3.

Everytime I see another song pack announced, I hope that they will eventually release them for Wii. Nintendo seem very inclined not to include third party micro transactions at the moment which makes the online feature quite half assed. Why not take full advantage of it?

sweet i have just been getting in to muse will pick these up for sure

Nintendo!! you need to fix this and get me the option of DLC for Wii especially
when MUSE songs come out! You're missing out on being responsible for my
credit card debt!!!

I would also purchase the Thrice package. That is all.

At least Hysteria is in the european version of Rock Band, since thats PAL we should be getting those songs as well.
I want Starlight!

Normally I wouldn't pay 500 MS points for 3 songs, but damn it it's Muse so it's totally worth it. Consider me sold.

Judging by his name, he's part of that club that doesn't acknowledge anything as music apart from metal. Apparantly, music has to be hard or it isn't music. Give me Muse anyday ahead of another repetitive 15-minute metal mind-bore.

Clearly, this is Activisions gift to me as it is my Birthday on that day.

Thanks Activision!

Joy! I love Muse and Stockholm Syndrome is one of my favourite songs. I really do wish they'd swap Exo-Politics for Hysteria, but I do like that song anyways so better than nothing.
But, I have the PS3 version so I guess I'll be waiting a month+ after the 360 pack is released...

I'd love to see Space Dementia on there, or Newborn. Pretty much anything off of Origin of Symmetry is instant win.

Agreed. I'm loving the fact that the new content is Muse, but I'm hating the fact that it's none of their older stuff.
