While much of the videogaming news was centred around the DC comics licensing of Gears of War 2 and Prototype, a subtle hint was also dropped about a sequel to a popular comic book-based videogame - The Darkness.
During a panel at NYCC today, Top Cow president Matt Hawkins was probed about the possibility of a sequel to the adventures of anti-hero Jackie Estacado.
Hawkins coyly trailed off in a suggestive manner with, "I can't announce there's going to be another game, but…"
While he would not confirm that another Darkness title was in the works, he did confirm that two other Top Cow properties would be receiving the videogame treatment - those being Witchblade and Hunter/Killer.
