Haze gets a 'firm' release date
PS3 News | Is Ubisoft crying wolf once more?
Maybe it's an early April Fool's gag. Perhaps it's the effects of the game's titular drug finally wearing off from our hands-on at last year's eGames expo. Whatever the case, Ubisoft has today followed up on its word and announced a May 22 release date for its long delayed first-person shooter, Haze, MCV reports.
Expected at the end of 2007 for the PlayStation 3, with versions to have followed for Xbox 360 and PC, Free Radical's squad-based shooter has failed to meet more than one of its publishing promises. With the game now apparently a PS3 exclusive once again, perhaps a tentative May 28 release day for Australians, fitting within Ubisoft's first quarter of fiscal 2008, isn't totally a figment of gamer naivety.
Maybe.
