Tomb Raider: Underworld out in time for Christmas

PS3 News | You can forget the pony, Santa.
While many were prepared for a lengthy delay of Lara Croft's next adventure -- due to Eidos' latest round of cost cutting -- the company's latest business press release states otherwise, with Tomb Raider: Underworld set for release in the upcoming all-important holiday period.

"Following a review of our 2008 platform and product line up, the Group has decided to move the release date of four titles into the fourth calendar quarter," said Eidos/SCi CEO, Phil Rogers. "The most significant of these titles is the next Tomb Raider game, Tomb Raider: Underworld, which is now scheduled to launch during the 2008 Christmas season."

You'd better start on those Christmas lists now...

Hopefully this brings the franchise back to its good days. I liked tomb raider. Just hope its not a rush job.
