Sony details Home integration

PS3 News | Resistance, Uncharted and Warhawk the first to be featured.
With Sony's Home on the horizon, details are starting to become available about how exactly some of the first-party PlayStation 3 games are going to be integrated with the PS3 exclusive feature, Kotaku reports.

Popular launch title Resistance: Fall of Man will have an offering via Home, allowing players access to unseen areas in the game as well as the ability to listen to bonus content from within the storyline itself. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune will actually give Home users access to an entirely unique 2D side-scrolling action game said to be the same style as shooting games like Contra.

The Warhark Home portal is probably the most interesting, featuring a 'war-room' of sorts where up to eight players can meet to discuss tactics and the like for an upcoming match. But it's not just a room per se; players will be able to look at a 3D replication of the level in question, and place scaled army men figures on the 3D map to help properly formulate their strategy before jumping straight into the game.

It certainly sounds interesting and with Home supposedly coming out in the near future, we're curious to see what other features are in store. As always, we'll let you know as soon as new information becomes available.
