Haze is set in the year 2048, where governments have outsourced military operations to private corporations. In the game, players assume the role of Shane Carpenter, a newly enlisted solider for Mantel Global Industries who seeks thrills and fulfillment. As players battle a rebel faction known as the Promise Hand however, they’ll uncover the truth about Mantel and join their former enemy.

Good to see them announce a new, and more importantly, believable release date. I agree that the build at eGames was fairly ordinary and needed some work, so I really hope that said work has been done and that the game will live up to my expectations.
