Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 images revealed

PS3 News | How is it shaping up?

Ubisoft has sent through the latest images of Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, which is set for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next month.

The hero from the previous Rainbow 6 title, Logan Keller has been removed, players are now able to create their own character, the game also includes revamped AI and eleven brand new weapons. Look out for a review of the game on PALGN next month.

Looks good.
I just hope they fix up the black guy's (Michael?) accent - not sure if it was SUPPOSED to be Australian but it sounded awful.
Always does when a Yank tries to do Aussie accents.

That accent micheal has is supposed to be London ****, which is what americans think aussies sound like for some reason.

As for Capt Price in COD4 who has the same accent, i think he's suppossed to be a from London as well, although he looks like Merv Hughes. Dunno if they're supposed to be British SAS or Ozzie SAS.

^ Captain Price was voiced by a real Londoner though - Billy Murray, ex-The Bill (he was Sergent Beech) - so if you thought that sounded wrong, then you need your impressions of UK accents sorted.

No i thought capt price was 100% ****, but now the question is was capt price an aussie (since he looks like Merv) or was he british SAS. Micheal from RB 6 was a British character.

Capt Price in COD4 has a totally different accent to Michael in R6V.
As ObsoletE said, Price was voiced by a British actor, whereas Michael was voiced by an American attempting to put on an accent. And failed miserably.

Capt. Price is British SAS (off the top of my head i think they mention it in one of the levels).

There's a lot of games with poor voice acting but I think thorugh the years I've been gaming I've sort'a built up an immunity to it so it doesnt bother me so much.

Would be nice if dev teams spent a little bit more money and paid some actualy people from the regions they're portraying.

Sweet RB6Vegas has awesome multiplayer so i hope this will be great too. not sure if it will be worth the $100 price tag though.

I wouldn't be surprised if these are touched up, I mean, the screenshot's filename is "art_..."

They look like they are half artwork and half rendered on the Wii. Hope the final game looks 10x better.
