Burnout Paradise out this week

PS3 News | We know you wanted to know.

For weeks now the release date for Burnout Paradise has been under a cloud of doubt. Many retailers had the title pegged for release this Thursday, but we were told by EA that the game would be out next Thursday.

Well, as luck would have it we have been told by several retail sources that Burnout Paradise has shipped early and should be available this Thursday. Some stores will have stock of the game already, but officially the game should be available for everyone this Thursday. This is great news, as we are huge fans of Burnout Paradise and cannot wait to see many more gamers online.

Great news, it has been my most anticipated game since AC lol and then GTA will take its place...

I got it today at EB Games.

Yeah I got mine today at EB at around 12. Played it for about 3 hours and I'm gonna go back to it in a couple of minutes (i'm writing this on my PS3).
Still undecided on it tho. I think it's great but I really do think Burnout 3 was the pinnacle of the franchise and was as good as it'll ever get. Also, the open world does have a few problems... with the speeds you get to in Burnout, a set track really does help. One wrong move and you end up like 10km in the wrong direction before you even realise it. Still, I think it'll grow on me. And the online is fantastic.
Crash junctions are sorely missed tho. Showtime's alright... but it's just not crash.
