New Prince of Persia title on the way

PS3 News | As Haze gets delayed yet again.
Ubisoft has posted their third quarter results for 2007-2008 and revealed a few tidbits in the announcement. First up, the company took in $650 million in revenue, with strong sales of Assassin's Creed no doubt helping things. Overall sales were up 44% in comparison to the same time period in 2006.

It will also surprise absolutely no one to learn that Ubisoft is planning on bringing out another Prince of Persia title, which is set for release in fiscal year 2008-2009.

Finally, Haze has been delayed again, the game is set for release anytime between April 2008 and March 2009.

Can't wait for the nex PoP game.

From those that have played the game on the forums, Haze appeared far from finished. FPS, being the populated gaming category that it is, dosn't need another half-arsed title, it needs a pure quality title , take your time Haze, make a ripper.

Haze delayed again? Shouldn't they be subtitling the name with Forever by now?

Im starting to think that haze is gonna be crap. I hope it isnt but delays after delays make me wonder.

Haze seems to be succumbing to Duke Nukem Forever-itis, except nobody cares about Haze.

Good to hear about another Prince of Persia, though. Here's hoping they remember what made Sands of Time so good this time around.

What, that it only lasted five hours and the combat was so mind numbingly boring that the exact same move could be used to defeat every single enemy in the entire game (except the camera of course which was absolutely horrendous)? Sure it was fun running on walls, but the game lacked the charm of the original in every way shape and form, there was none of the urgency exhibited in the 2d titles, nor the danger. Oh no, I got slashed, wait it didn't kill me, oh well, rewind anyway so I don't lose the health, YAY! Even if you did forget to rewind you'd get thrown back a whopping two minutes with that stupid line "wait, that's not how it happened". No, really? Here I was thinking you actually did fall down the huge hole and then your ghost decided to talk about your exploits. Why the Hell would you even put that into the story anyway.

Yeah, so I went to the bank today and it got robbed, I got shot in the head and died. Oh wait, no, that didn't happen, I got out safely yeah. Gee, I must be on loopy pills today I can't even figure out if I'm alive or not. Hang on, the bank didn't even get robbed either, I just deposited cash in my account. Wow, if you think about it this is actually a pretty boring story.

In case people hadn't noticed, I wasn't that big a fan of the new Prince of Persia titles (although they were leaps and bounds ahead of PoP 3D so I guess I can be thankful of that).
