Former God of War director gives endorsement

PS3 News | Cory Barlog states third title is 'in good hands'.
A post on Cory Barlog's blog indicates that the former director of titles in the God of War series has confidence in the team working on God of War 3. Barlog left Sony several months ago for unknown reasons, shortly after God of War game designer David Jaffe left Sony to form his own development studio, 'Eat, Sleep, and Play'.

Barlog's blog states that God of War 3 'is in good hands', and that the Sony Santa Monica team, who is developing the title, 'is one of the best teams I have ever worked with'. Further, he describes how he was heavily involved in laying out the foundation for the third title before he left, and that the story arc that began with the first title in the series will be resolved: 'The story is going to finish off with a very big, very epic bang though. I think everyone will be quite pleased.'

He goes on to give his educated thoughts on Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect and Super Mario Galaxy.
