Rugby League Game Sets Preorder Record

PS2 News | Rugby League topples preorder record.
Sidhe Interactive and Tru Blue Games have announced today that their soon to be released title, Rugby League, has reached record numbers of preorder numbers.

EB Games Eastgarden's store in Sydney, Australia, have broken the worldwide single store preorder record for the retail chain with over 1,060 units of the game being preordered at that store only. The record was formerly held by a US based EB for preorders of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

The game is only days away from release and is expected to shoot to the top of the sales charts.

Rugby League (known as Stacey Jones Rugby League in NZ and SuperLeague Rugby League in Europe) will be available from the 12th of December for the PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox and PC.
