Even more AFL Premiership 2007 images revealed

PS2 News | Sony leaves us with a weekend treat.
AFL fans have been treated well recently with Sony announcing AFL Premiership 2007 on Monday, and following up with images of the game on Tuesday. Now, just before popping off for the weekend, Sony sent through two more images, both of which look like in-game shots.

AFL Premiership 2007 features enhanced weather effects, a dynamic difficulty level and new missions for the Mission mode. We'll have more information on the game very shortly - for now, head over to the Media Panel.

Spam! Fine him!

Rather than jazzed up graphics and new weather features why don't we get a game that plays well first...

^ Why not play it before making that assumption? Just a thought...

Have you read the posts in all the other threads?

People do this for every announced release of a game!

Whilst I agree with you that speculation is silly, it seems pretty common on these forums.

I believe it's the same Dev team that has done all the other games, and I don't believe any one of those improved on the previous ones in leaps and bounds.

Because after all, we're really looking forward to Kicking a Footy onto a Giant Numbered-Chess Board to get more points.

It is the same dev team, yes, and each game has been better than the last due to refinements and additions. Incremental releases tend to work that way, especially when the dev team is relatively small and on a tight schedule.

As for the Chess-board thing, you've lost me.

Either way, I don't even like sport games as a general rule - I was just being all drunk and contentious.

It was a mini-game in one of them, and rather bad at it. Sadly it was more fun then playing a full match, however.

Ahh, fair enough icon_smile.gif
Must be one of the older ones then, there hasn't been a mini-game like that (or any at all) in the last few years' versions from memory.

ive got 2005 and have played 06 and i actually dont mind them... but have you seen the difference between say... NBA and AFL?

Yes, and this is to do with the budget and size of the dev teams.

Still my previous comment seems valid as every year they seem to put more into claiming the graphics and details are improved rather than that the game play will actually keep you playing through a full season.
