Guitar Hero goes 80s
PS2 News | Even more guitar heroics for the masses.
Well, this seems to have come from nowhere. Guitar Hero fever seems to be taking over the entire world, with Guitar Hero II hitting the shelves not too long ago to rave reviews. RedOctane and Activision are hoping to keep the trend going, announcing Guitar Hero: Rocks the 80s today, via press release. The game will focus on - get this - rock tracks from the 1980s. Somewhat surprisingly, it's going to be exclusive to the PS2 - sorry 360 fans, you miss out this time around.
This edition will feature thirty songs all up, but so far, we only know of:
- Twisted Sister - I Wanna Rock
- Flock of Seagulls - I Ran
- Ratt - Round and Round
- Bow Wow Wow - I Want Candy
- Quiet Riot - Mental Health
- Dio - Holy Diver
- Asia - Heat Of The Moment
The game isn't too far away, with a mid-year release scheduled. When we hear of any new tracks, we'll let you know.
