GTA Vice City Stories PS2 information

PS2 News | Multiplayer removed yet again.
According to Eurogamer Rockstar have clarified a few extra details on Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories for the PlayStation 2.

First off, the game will be available on the 9th of March for both Europe and Australia. The title will retail for $49.95 (19.99 GBP) and unfortunately the multiplayer has been removed.

"We couldn't recreate the same thing we did on the PSP on the PS2, so unfortunately it's not on it," a PR spokesperson told Eurogamer.

The good news is that the game will look better on the PlayStation 2 and have a longer draw distance, so PlayStation 2 gamers can't be disappointed. Look out for our review of Vice City Stories shortly.

It is a bit disapointing to hear that the multiplayer has been removed but the game is getting some technical improvements which doesn't make this news all bad. I will be looking forward to the PALGN review of this game.

I have no interest what so ever in multiplay, so that does not affect me at all.

I never pulled my finger out to pick up Liberty City Stories for PS2. I am hoping they will do a two-fer like they did with 3/VC/SA. Like a "complete City Stories" pack with both included. What would be great.

heh..
