Guitar Hero to blame for baseball pitcher's injury

PS2 News | Probably something you don't want to admit.
It's been revealed via a radio interview that Joel Zumaya, a pitcher for the Detroit Tigers missed three play-off games from a repetitive strain injury which was caused by playing far too much Guitar Hero.

Zumaya had complaints about forearm pain during the American League Championship Series in October, the training staff found that his injury was more akin to a guitar playing motion than to throwing. When Zumaya stopped playing the game, then pain went away and he pitched pain-free for three appearances during the World Series.

So if it's not Wii remote injuries it's guitar injuries; gaming is becoming a dangerous hobby - soon it will be like sky diving or bungie jumping.

I am continually complaining of getting repetitive strain / carpal tunnel syndrome in my hands and arms from playing guitar hero. Finally some evidence to back me up that other elite athletes suffer the same problem icon_lol.gif
