Combined Assault further expands the SOCOM games with 4-player co-operative mode, new weapons, vehicles and enhanced AI. Fireteam Bravo 2 attempts to improve on the first PSP title with a new non-linear mission system of progression and new "Command Equity" and "Local Influence" systems. These are meant to reward players for completing missions well with additional intel, new weapons and so forth. As in the predecessors, SOCOM 3 and the original Fireteam Bravo, both games will have a feature called "Crosstalk", which is a fancy word for connectivity between the two. This is meant to affect both games and unlock new features.
Given that SOCOM 3 and Fireteam Bravo were pretty damned good, we are defintiely looking forward to what these next games have to offer. And we won't have to wait long to find out more about them either. More as it happens, here at PALGN.
