First God of War 2 shots emerge

PS2 News | Epic locations and giant beasties on the cards again.

The first screens of God of War 2 that aren't dodgy magazine scans have emerged over at Danish game site Game Reactor. Sadly, they're not particularly big (click here to take a look), but they do give a half-decent idea of why you shouldn't pack your PS2 away just yet. The game, which is set to appear in the US in early-2007 (and in PAL regions shortly after, you'd hope), will once again feature Kratos, the hero of the first title, kicking all sorts of arse. And with any luck, young Lahiru and James will be playing it at E3.

I'm not young dammit!

Looks like those screens were taken from the gloriously gory GDC video. I can't remember where I downloaded the video from, so don't ask, but I'm sure google will help out anyone who's interested.

I'm looking forward to this game. I just hope they don't overdo the gore.

Looking forward to this, and I disagree Lahiru, I hope they overdo that gore like crazy, because gore equates to mass amounts of limbtacular fun!
