Lego Star Wars images revealed

PS2 News | Ever wanted to play as Luke Skywalker in Lego form?
A few weeks ago we brought you the news that Lego Star Wars: The Original Trilogy was in development. Unfortunately we couldn't reveal any images because they were under wraps, but the first images have come out today.

Lego Star Wars: The Original Trilogy is going to let players re-enact scenes from the original movies, as well as possibly build vehicles. We're still not sure what platforms the game is going to be on, but we expect it will be the same platforms as before.

We've included the first three images in the media panel, we'll have more on Lego Star Wars: The Original Trilogy as soon as it becomes available.

On the announcement of this game I decided that I NEEDed the original, and found that the CUBE version is getting increasingly difficult to find.... but find it I did!

Finally a game to play with my pop culture junkie friends who still ask which button to press... (the BIG GREEN one)!

I can't wait to play this sequel, though I wonder, with the original trilogy, if I'll still be able to say that "it's better than the movies".

am i the only person that believes lego star wars was the **** game ever?

my friend and i finished in 2 hours, and it has no replayability. it was ridiculously easy. you continued indefinately. come on, just because it's star wars doesn't mean you have to like it. god damn.

^ feel free not to like it. it's certainly not the best game ever, but i found it great fun.

personally i'd love to see more Lego <insert franchise> games made. Lego X-Men, Lego Matrix, Lego Lord of the Rings.

Its the fun factor I like! Yeah its dead easy, but co operative play games are hard to come by, and my buddies are crap.

As for Lego <insert franchise>, Planet of the Apes Pentilogy please.

Woah. Awesome.

Those would look great sitting in my cousin's Star Wars Lego collection. Unfortunately he'd make me build the damn thing.
