So as to who will be taking the reigns of this project (if it eventuates), is yet to be known. Another thing that we have yet to find out is whether this project will be intended for PS2 or PS3 release. Given the amount of time that was spent on the original, we'd be willing to bet on the later.
Another thing - last week, Eurogamer posted an article with some early details about the game. It was quickly pulled, with a note saying how they had been threatened with legal action. Hmm...
