Crazy Frog Racer Images

PS2 News | First images of the game based on the song based on the ringtone.
Ubisoft have announced that they have secured a publishing deal (there was competition?) to distribute Crazy Frog Racer, which is set for the PC and the Playstation 2 at the end of this year.

The Crazy Frog phenomenon started earlier this year, when the ringtone was converted into a song, a cover of Axel F from Beverly Hills Cop. The single spent four weeks at the top of the UK charts, and subsequent singles are in the pipeline. An album has also been released.

The game is an arcade racing game, and will have a choice of eight playable characters, with twelve different tracks also being selectable.

The game doesn't sound as bad as we thought, but we're still shocked that it is in development. Crazy Frog Racer will be available at the end of this year, wonder what will be on the soundtrack?

The guy that made the whole 'crazy frog' thing is even annoyed by it now he said.

The sad part is that this will actually sell pretty well.

And I heard for the first time someone with the Crazy Frog mobile tone on the train the other day. And it was some asian guy, go figure. I didn't actually think people used the tone though.

One can only hope the rumour of Digital Jesters cash flow problems are real and tangible. Although strenously denied by the organisation.

The same article said they have had 4 name changes already. Thats fair dinkum company for ya!

What beats me is why Ubisoft want any part of it. icon_confused.gif

With today's industry, anything is possible. Least if it did happen, that 3 year old would be even more rich. icon_rolleyes.gif

"Let's croak us some Toad!!!" -Captain Bucky O'Hare

I can't believe anyone would make a game. I mean surely the people working on it would rather hang themselves by their genitals?

Perhaps that should be the content of the game? It would certainly be more interesting...

if "Sound" scores more than a 0.5, i'll scream.

I was wrong about the 50 cent game, this game defines stupidity.
