Destroy All Humans! going to the movies

PS2 News | Followed by world domination.
THQ has announced today that the company has approached Hollywood’s United Talent Agency in a bid to expand the brand of THQ’s recently released Destroy All Humans! video game title. The publisher announced that they are hoping, in an agreement with UTA, that the franchise will soon invade media such as movies and television productions.

'THQ's impressive track record of innovating mass-appeal gaming content speaks for itself,' said Brent Weinstein, Agent, United Talent Agency. 'We see great potential for crossing the Destroy All Humans! property across all relevant entertainment platforms, and we anticipate high interest among the creative and marketing communities alike.'

There are currently no movie or television projects that have been announced, although PALGN will keep you updated as new details surface. And watch out for our review of the game, which should finally be arriving this week.

Good movie => crappy game conversion
Mediocre game => excellent movie conversion?

It's good to see something big might come of an Aussie achievement (Even if they were Queenslanders icon_wink.gif ). Never actually played the game, but I have a demo disk. Maybe I should actually give it a go...
