The PAL version of the game will feature four new elements, unseen in both the Japanese and U.S versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as a thank you to PAL gamers that have had to wait paitiently for the game's March release. The game will include a new Duel Mode, which will allow gamers to battle through the game's boss fights one by one once unlocked. A demo theatre mode has also been included, and can be used to play the game's movie sequences.
In addition to the new modes, the PAL version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will include a new difficulty level labelled as ‘European Extreme’, which is described to test all those ‘veterans of Snake’s jungle environment’. Along with this, the game will also include two extra levels in the Snake Vs Monkey mode, in which you go man-to-monkey in special levels while trying to capture those little mischief monkeys from Sony's Ape Escape series. The PAL version will also feature many face paint designs not seen in the existing versions of the game, while the winning designs from Konami's global camouflage creation competition will also be included.
With Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater set to be released in little over a month, be sure to keep checking PALGN for its PAL review.
