Acclaim announces Speed Kings

PS2 News | A new motorbike game, Speed Kings, has been announced by Acclaim for all three consoles.
Acclaim have announced that they will be publishing Speed Kings, a motorbike game in development by the UK based Climax, for GameCube and Xbox as well as the PS2.

Speed Kings, due out in May, will attempt to combine heartstopping racing action with insane stunts, realistic crashes, a high level of AI, while dodging peak hour traffic. The game has twelve street circuits situated throughout the globe, ranging from Las Vegas to London.

- 22 bikes based around real bikes, both custom and production
- 3 single player modes plus 5 multiplayer options
- Arcade-like handling
- Incredibly realistic crash sequences
- Insane stunts including hair-raising power down slides beneath lorries and death-defying jumps
- Interactive environments featuring traffic and destructible objects
- Deformation system for real-time bike damage
- Selection of riders each with unique riding styles and unique rider taunts
- Extensive reward-based hidden features
- Speed King point system
- Official in-game authentic motorcycling gear from brands Alpinestars and Shoei
