We can confirm that the new title will feature Dante’s brother, Vergil. Vergil wields a powerful razor sharp sword and doesn’t use guns, something of which his brother adores. In the storyline Vergil disappears a year prior to the events in Devil May Cry 3 and hadn’t been heard of until a sudden resurgence...
Also, we’re happy to announce that Devil May Cry 3 will feature a new combat system that allows for some interesting combinations of fighting sequences. Gamers will now be able to charge up their attacks for a more damaging blast against their enemy and will also be able to use their gun and sword to form a variety of combinations of fighting styles. Additionally, Devil May Cry 3 will feature an array of new weapons to assist Dante in his fights against evil (knifes and nun-chucks being just a taste of what’s to come).
PALGN is hoping that Devil May Cry 3 can truly resurrect the struggling franchise, making it something special like the original Devil May Cry.
