New Ace Combat 5 screens take off

PS2 News | 22 new shots, and Namco's flight sim is looking anything but plane.

Sony has released a further cornucopia of screenshots for Ace Combat 5, and things are looking jolly tidy. Whilst the actual environments (as they tend to be in these flying affairs) are a little flat close up, the aircraft are all looking sumptuous, and releasing a barrage of missiles doesn't look half bad. Meanwhile the cockpit view, which is shown in two of the new screens, looks set to be PALGN's perspective of choice once more.

Roll on 2005, then.
