With events in "The World" now having severe effects on the real world, and people falling into comas while playing, CC Corp, who run the servers, are now under pressure to pull the plug on the popular MMORPG. If this does happen, all the victims of the virus within "The World" will die, and only Kite with his powerful bracelet can stop the virus, or whatever truly lurks inside "The World".

.hack//QUARANTINE (Vol.4) Preview
PS2 Preview | Put on that bracelet one last time as the .hack saga draws to a close.
Overall:
This game should be eargerly anticipated by those who have followed the series. However, this late in the series, it will be difficult for people to pick up without playing the other three games.
