Need for Speed Underground 2 : 10 New Screenshots

PS2 News | EA’s upcoming street racer game is looking hot.
Electronic Art’s Need for Speed Underground 2, the sequel to the best-selling racing game of 2003, has been overhauled to allow gamers to roam-freely in a massive city, with five distinct interconnected neighbourhoods, and promises to provide one of the best street racing replicas ever created.

All new game modes such as joint circuit, drift and drag events will add real depth in creating one of the most realistic approaches to street racing ever created. New performance tuning allows gamers to fine-tune their cars in every aspect of handling and performance, while the all-new visual customisations guarantee gamers to create a hot ride of their own.

The latest screenshots from EA’s anticipated racing game shows off some new stylish cars on the midnight tracks of the city’s spotlight, each looking extremely fantastic.

Need For Speed Underground 2 is currently scheduled for a Quarter 4 release 2004, for the Playstation 2, Xbox, Gamecube, PC and Game Boy Advance. PALGN will have more information on Need For Speed Underground 2 as it is released.

The game looks cool so far. I hope EA does 2 things with graphics this time. 1.) A steady framerate of at least 30fps. 60 would be nice, but i know that's' too hard for EA. 2.) A 60hz option! C'mon EA! Use the feature!

I agree 100% with both of your suggestions. And I think that EA should make it 60fps. No excuse not to in my opinion.

And well I'm sure you lot can assume my opinion towards the game. icon_smile.gif

i think there's simply to much on the screen for any console to handle properly...

should do a GT Hifi mode and scrap some of the building details...

not that i mind, PC all the way icon_smile.gif
