SingStar: Singalong with Disney revealed

PS2 News | Fun for the whole family, apparently.
Sony have revealed that the next entry in the SingStar series will be SingStar: Singalong With Disney.

As its title suggests, Singalong With Disney will feature songs from classic Disney films including The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and Toy Story. Additionally, clips from the original movies will play in the background during songs, while the usual solo, duet, and battle modes will also be returning.

So far the following tracks have been confirmed:

  • Aladdin - A Whole New World
  • The Jungle Book - The Bare Necessities
  • Toy Story - You Got A Friend In Me
  • The Little Mermaid - Under The Sea
  • Pinocchio - When You Wish Upon A Star

SingStar: Singalong With Disney is currently scheduled to be released across PAL regions in Autumn (or Summer for Australia) this year on the PlayStation 2. We have included some screens of the game in the media panel below.

Now I can be drunk at home and sing A whole new world and Under the sea without having to leave the house, brilliant!

based on the screen shots, i'd say a few more songs are confirmed.
Probably sad to admit, but this might be the singstar game to get me to actual buy the set, so long as it has a few more songs from the lion king then 'i just can't wait to be king' (how can they not put in Circle of Life).

Eeeee! This makes me so very happy! I grew up watching these movies and I love SingStar, win win!

I hope it has the single version of A Whole New World from the end credits as well as the one from the movie - but what are the chances? Still, it seems highly likely this will arrive in our house at some point. We're beyond help.

Oh, God.. You know what we need?! SingStar Showtunes! Little Shop of Horrors, Rocky Horror Picture Show, West Side Story, Les Miserables, Camelot.. man, it'd go off. I am deadly serious.

Ahahaha, I want. I hope it includes The Lion Sleeps Tonight <3

Singstar Showtunes sounds brilliant. If they put the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack on Singstar, that's it - Karaoke night at Dani's place. And good luck to anyone trying to yank the microphone from these little mits.

Looks like this will be my final game for the PS2 then.

It'll probably break it, knowing me. icon_razz.gif
