DRIV3R goes gold

PS2 News | After what seems like forever DRIV3R is ready for release.

After speculation that DRIV3R was delayed last week, Atari have announced today that DRIV3R has gone gold and is ready to ship.

DRIV3R has a lot to prove with Atari setting a 10,000,000 sales target for the game. DRIV3R is the sequel to the best selling Driver and Driver 2 on the Playstation One.

Once again players will control Tanner, a ruthless player through three fully 3D locations. Reflections have promised DRIV3R will feature a gripping storyline, fantastic driving physics and amazing vehicle destruction.

DRIV3R will be released on June 22nd in Australia and Europe and will be rated M. PALGN will have a review of this long awaited title as soon as possible.

bout time.... i want to see how it stacks up against GTA3... the tanner level was **** funny

although i probably won't be able to warrant buying it until it's gone platinum...
