Prince of Persia picks up GDC Awards

PS2 News | Two awards go to Ubisoft.
Ubisoft accepted two notable awards for its renowned hit, Prince of Persia The Sands of Time, at the 4th annual Game Developers Choice Awards in San Jose recently.

The Prince of Persia team took home the Excellence in Programming and Excellence in Game Design awards.

"It is a great honor to receive the ultimate nod from our industry peers," said Yves Guillemot, President and CEO, Ubisoft. "These awards, added to the nine others we received from the Academy of Arts and Interactive Science earlier this month, are a strong tribute to our dedication towards innovation and quality. We now have the stimulating challenge to surpass our own high standards and to reach an even higher level of quality and creativity with our 2004 titles."
