GrimGrimoire winners revealed

PS2 News | Our two winners are chosen.
Well, there's been a week of voting, and a bit of tabulating and double checking, but we're pleased to reveal who the two lucky winners of our GrimGrimoire competition are.

First place goes to Phae H of South Australia. Phae has won herself a PlayStation 2, as well as a monster pack of Koei back catalogue titles and of course, GrimGrimoire. Second place goes to Danielle G of South Australia. Danielle has won herself a PlayStation 2 and a copy of Grim Grimoire. There must be something in the water in South Australia..

We'd like to congratulate these winners as well as thank Koei for the rather excellent prizes.

I actually didn't think D should have won. I'm sure the costume would have been awesome, but I couldn't really see it, all I saw was a couple of blue scruntchies (i.e. I'm sure the costume was great, but the camera angle didn't really show off much, unless that's all there was in which case, I dunno, doesn't seem that spectacular to me).

Buy hey, kudos and stuff.

I'd like to say congrats to the other contestants, and that I'm a bit bummed that I didn't win, but I had fun doing it.

(I was photo C, BTW)

Maybe there is, but we have a tap filter.

I thought B and C were more than worthy, and voted for C myself. Congrats to Phae, and kudos to tootie_kicks for putting in a good effort.

This has really made my day, though :] Thanks guys!

Atmosphere also shouldn't be discounted with effort, so in that sense that camera angle was pretty damn good instead of a portrait piece, it would determine on what individuals constitute as effort, as there was no set conditions for voting on the public end (as in "efforts must show 74.95% of their costume") it's understandable that results might be surprising to some.

But yeah, I think D was one of the better ones since the picture seemed to portray atmosphere as well as the costumed effort.

Congrats to the winners and those who even entered.

Finally I can rant! XD

I couldn't tell who A, E, F, were meant to be.

I was quite upset that D did not have a talking skull lover icon_cry.gif

and that was pretty much the only thing i wanted to say ever since voting began

Tootie-kicks, I wanted to say I thought your costume was really good - I could tell who you were meant to be, and you actually looked like you'd put alot of effort into it, so good job icon_smile.gif

And thank you to anyone/everyone who voted for me, really really appreciate it.

And congrats to Dani as well! I wanted to ask if you are going to AVCon this year? Maybe we can both cosplay and pose together icon_wink.gif.

Anyway fantastic competition XD

Man, I wish I actually decided to make my Bartido costume for this.

If I do get around to making it, I'll be at AVCon! =P

Well I hope you do. This was my first attempt at real cosplay - I've done the schoolgirl/maids outfit before, but never anything that required sewing. I'll have to fix my outfit a little before I wear it out, but it'd be awesome to see another Grim Grimoire cosplayer there.

And it feels really weird to be posting here instead of just reading and not saying anything haha.

Well done to all the entrants, regardless of their final standing. It would have taken some courage to put your face out in public like that so you get my respect for that.

Sorry to bump, but I *finally* got my prize yesterday and I wanted to express my gratitude to the PALGN Staff and to Koei. Very happy, thank you!

God damn that took a while.

Better late than never I say. I'm not complaining about a free console. I'd be complaining if I paid for it!
