Grab one of 1000 copies of Fury

PC Competition | Furific!
To celebrate the December 14th launch of Fury's huge new add-on Age of The Chosen, Brisbane based developer Auran has kindly offered to give away 1000 copies of Fury to PALGN readers. That's a retail value of well over $50,000!

Age of The Chosen will include a two new game-types, Carnage & 1v1 Elimination, with 7 brand new maps to accompany them. The tutorial and interface has been streamlined and various rebalancing and bug fixes will improve the game's overall experience.

To grab your copy of the PC game, simply be only of the first 1000 people to answer the following question correctly; In what city is Fury's developer, Auran based? To make it extra easy it's even multiple choice!

The Age of The Chosen content update for Fury will be available to download from the Fury servers on December 14th. PALGN would like to thank Auran for the prizes and organising this competition.

UPDATE: All Copies of Fury have now been allocated. Thanks to everyone who entered.

Mine just came, pretty badly squashed but okay. I more or less just feel guilty about getting a free copy from Auran now, but thanks to Auran and PALGN anyway.

Anyone else still not got theres?

I'm in Melbourne and am still yet to receive my copy.

Sounds like the team at Auran played indoor soccer with them before sending them off. (see ebay listing from one of the affected employees)

Yeah, I was certainly thinking of that listing when I got mine from the mailbox not ten minutes ago... pretty squished.

Received my copy a couple of hours ago, box in perfect condition. Installed it and just waiting for the patch to download.

Oh and b3nbo, learn to be patient, its being sent out just before Christmas so what do you expect. Just be happy that you're getting a free game instead of complaining about how long it is taking!

Anyway, thanks Auran and PALGN icon_y1.gif .

My box was in perfect condition too.

My box was totally squashed. Oh well, free game, can't complain. South Australia if it is relevant.
Yeah, mine was squashed too, but that's what you get for having a small hole. And one in my letterbox too.

To ensure authenticity of these items, you will see that no stickers were ever added to the box and one of the items has a rage induced foot imprint after been kicked across the room by a now also redundant developer, a real survivor this one!

Unsquished.

Well, there goes it's eBay market value. This one could be ANY old copy of Fury now.

You honestly reckon they could afford anything other than normal mail? icon_confused.gif

wouldn't cost any different, i mean the weight is the same.

i just meant that occasionally i get DVDs delivered by the normal, everyday, motorcycle postie, and other times they get delivered to my door by an Australian Post Contractor van-man. i just wondered which method was the norm here.
Mine came to the front door from the "Australia Post Contractor van-person" (it was a woman icon_razz.gif), probably why the box was perfect.
ok - looks like it's a "luck of the draw" kind of deal.

(i don't even know if i was lucky enough to get a copy, just hoping.)
Hmm, whenever it gets past about 9am I know that I won't be getting a delivery by Parcel Post.

My normal postie doesn't bring larger items.

*sigh*

I really thought I had got one, considering I entered over 2 hours before the final entry was confirmed.

The wait continues.
Well it looks like all copies are now delivered because mine just arrived here in South Australia and I just know that I am always last on the list as i live way South of Adelaide. haha!!
Mine was also crushed like hell but its hot here and the guy that delivers to me is like a big guy, so i think he used my copy on his Van seat so that he wouldnt burn his butt.

Anyway, thanks heaps PALGN and Auran games for the prize.
You both rock but in Auran's case, rocked. I am really sad about it too because I always loved their games and I have bought heaps of them in the past, especially the Spellforce series.

My question is :
Now i have this Free Month full version does this mean I still have to download the Chosen edition as i cant afford subscriptions?
Or is the Chosen built in after downloading the 600MB patch?

Personally I wish Auran would retry to trade and use the Guild Wars model for FURY. I think this would put them back in the green.
