Team Fortress 2 updates

PC News | Valve Software announces 36 new Medic achievements.
Valve Software, developers of highly successful multi-game title The Orange Box, have recently announced that new achievements will be added to Team Fortress 2 in the coming weeks. There will be 36 in total, all for the Medic class, and they'll include 'House Call', 'Hypocritical Oath' and 'Infernal Medicine'. Further details are not yet available.

In the same announcement, Valve described numerous additions to their online store, including concept art lithographs from other Orange Box games (Portal, Half-Life 2: Episode 2 and Team Fortress 2). Also for sale are Portal-themed 'Aperture Laboratory Holiday Greeting Cards' and The Orange Box gift certificate packs, which offer a significant saving on the retail price.

Awesome. I love achievements.

And this will make me play medic even more. Can't wait for the other classes achievement packs.

They are PC only aren't they? Really interested in what they have come up with, a game like TF2 lends itself well to coming up with some cool achievements (like the be healed as a spy by an opposing medic).

That one already exists (in the PC version at least).

Been searching around and I still can't find any confirmation for these on console. Anyone else found out if these are going to filter down into the x360 version?

If Valve keeps constantly tacking on more achievements like this, the possibilites for gamer score addicts could be almost endless. icon_lol_old.gif

I still don't know the point for these achievements for PC. it's just Steam achievements...

Although, I'll be trying like no tomorrow to get these anyway! I'm so addicted to this game.
