The event will kick off Friday July the 27th and will go through to 11:59PM on Sunday July the 29th in PST. So for Australians the event should kick off Saturday morning and run through to Monday the 30th of July.
"After the fantastic press demos last week in LA, and the great feedback we've seen from the closed beta testers, we believe it is now time to unleash Fury upon the broader public," commented Harry Miller, Head of Development at Gamecock, Fury's North American publisher. "We love indie developers because they innovate, and sometimes the best way for people to discover more about exciting new games is simply to let them experience it first-hand."
Tony Hilliam, Auran's CEO said that "We had planned our first public event to be a little closer to release, but we've come to realize that once people get two or three games of Fury under their belt, they're hooked. So we thought, why not just let them get sucked straight into the action and see for themselves."
There aren't an unlimited number of accounts available though - the servers will be running for 60 hours and up to 200,000 accounts will be issued. You'll need to head over to the Fury website to signup and book your place.
