Fallout 3 teaser trailer released

PC News | Third iteration of franchise due 'Fall 2008'.
True to their countdown word, Bethesda's Fallout 3 website has hit zero hour with the release of a teaser trailer for the upcoming post-apocalyptic sequel.

Clocking in at just under two and a half minutes in duration, fans of the franchise will be pleased with the trailer's Ink Blots/Ron Perlman defined in-engine contents. Best of all, a confirmed release date of sorts for 'Fall 2008' (so very witty Bethesda) has also been revealed.

Unfortunately, an enlightenment of exactly what style of RPG gameplay fans and newcomers alike can expect from the long-awaited Fallout sequel, remains a mystery to be baselessly whined over for just a while longer.

Well, at least they kept true to the source material I guess. Very nicely done, if utterly useless to those who want to know something solid about gameplay icon_smile.gif

I have even higher expectations for what Bethesda will do with Fallout 3 now.

good teaser, looking forward to learning more about the game. it was all taken ingame right? that should be a good sign. i maybe they will make it so that you can play both first/third person view.

First/third person would guarantee that I *wont* buy it, I dont see why everyone is so keen on doing first/third person games, I much prefer the traditional 2d style of gameplay for RPGs, or something like final fantasy.

I just want to give up playing FPS, but they won't let me cause they keep making these must-have titles...it's not fair !

dont think they mean fps as in a shooter but more of the view being from first person. i think alot of people are thinking that its going to be a oblivion style fallout game

yeah but the S in FPS stands for SHOOTER.... but anyway I think they may be right in the perspective thing... could work... might not... but i think if done with all the charm and feel of the first fallout games (plus the fact that you can kill absolutely anyone) and the graphics and gameplay of oblivion, this could be the best game ever.....
