Ubisoft announces second expansion for Heroes V

PC News | More Heroes madness later this year.
Ubisoft has today announced the standalone expansion pack for Heroes V, Heroes of Might & Magic V: Tribes of the East, which will allow new and old fans of the series to enjoy the game without previous versions of the game.

Tribes of the East will be the concluding chapter in Heroes V, as gamers will follow the steps of the Necrolord Arantir as he uncovers the prophecy of the Dark Messiah and exposes the Demon Sovereign’s conspiracy.

A new faction will be included in the game, as gamers will be able to now play as the new Orc faction, which will include Orcs, Goblins, Cyclops and the famed Pao Kais from Dark Messiah of Might & Magic. You’ll also be able to experience a new campaign with the new faction, where you’ll come across several characters from Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, which will apparently ‘bring an unexpected twist’ to the story. Intriguing.

In addition, Tribes of the East will also include a handful of new gameplay features such as spells, artefacts and building upgrades, as well as a new upgrade level for all preexisting creatures and ten multiplayer and five single-player maps.

Heroes of Might & Magic V: Tribes of the East is due later this year. The first batch of screenshots can be found in the Media Panel.
