Medieval II: Total War expansion announced

PC News | Due later this year.
Sega has revealed that its simply outstanding Total War series will be expanding later this year, with The Creative Assembly’s Australian studio currently working on the expansion pack to last year’s excellent Medieval II: Total War.

Entitled Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms, the game will include four new single-player campaigns covering the Americas, Britannia, the Crusades, and the Teutonic wars, more than 150 new units, new hero characters, six new multiplayer scenarios and twenty new custom battle maps. The game will also feature an array of new and exciting gameplay tweaks that will add another layer of strategy while on the battlefield.

Sega has also released a trailer to accompany the announcement, which can be found below. Medieval II: Total War Kingdom is currently scheduled for a late 2007 release.
